A long-term customer relationship that we truly value. Together, we have navigated the challenges of the pandemic—border closures, quarantine periods, countless arrivals, and farewells. While the busiest times are behind us, we continue to welcome EDF professionals to Finland every year.
EDF has made extensive use of our services, including home search, car leasing, residence permits and EU registrations, tax and DVV registrations, move-in assistance, airport transfers, quarantine services, COVID test and vaccination bookings, and school enrollments. Most importantly, we have supported families in their integration during their first year in Finland.
Additionally, EDF has implemented our re-invoicing service for car leasing.
Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC)
An EU family decided to move to Finland and began their journey by securing a job. RMC had the perfect job opportunity, and GMC Finland had the privilege of being involved from the very start. RMC entrusted us with comprehensive relocation services, and we even assisted the family in purchasing their own home in Finland.
RMC is also a trusted partner when it comes to welcoming foreign professionals to the shipyard. This includes collaborations with companies like TT-Line Company, the owner of the Spirit of Tasmania ships.

Thanks to our trusted partnership with RMC, we have been working with TT-Line since 2021.
GMC Finland has been guiding and supporting Spirit of Tasmania families throughout their relocation journey in Finland—from arrival to departure. TT-Line has utilized nearly all the services on our list, including the re-invoicing service, which is particularly convenient for foreign companies.
Turku Business Region
GMC Finland was part of the Talent Boost program, where we partnered with Business Turku to pilot the relocation of a Ukrainian specialist and his family to work in the Turku/Raisio area. This took place before the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
We assisted the family in gathering all necessary documents for their residence permit applications and guided them through the entire immigration process, including DVV registration, tax registration, and obtaining a Finnish ID card from the police. We also found them the perfect home and a great school for their children.
Additionally, GMC Finland handled all social security (KELA) applications for the entire family, helped the spouse register with the unemployment office, and arranged insurance coverage for the whole family—including their beloved dog.
